Toni Morrision has never lied. This quote encapsulates the feeling of 2025, where the all rights and ideas of being a citizen are being redefined. The cruelty of the current immigration movement was foretold in the last 400 years of American history. While we are experiencing what I see as a regression in all sorts of ways, art must do the work of speaking to the moment. This is JBarber getting back to my propaganda roots.
